Puppet Inc! is a mix between crowdfunding and an accelerator. John Mueller conceived of the concept after working with investors, many of whom thought they could do better than the management they had invested in. When putting their money into a new company they felt that manager / founders were just puppets ("agents" in the terms of academia). Puppet Inc! provides these types of investors to be the investor and the manager for a certain period of time to see if the concept can get off the ground.
